Retractable telescopic seating bank deployed in a sports hall
Retractable Seating

Retractable and telescopic seating, engineered to keep working

Retractable banks convert one hall into two. They also carry moving mechanisms, interlocks and safety devices that need inspection, servicing and clear records — which is exactly what we provide.

Scope Of Service

From first installation through a full working life

Our engineers work on retractable systems every week — installation, servicing, fault-finding and the modernisation of banks that are no longer supported by their original supplier.

New Installations

Telescopic and retractable banks supplied and installed for sports halls, arenas and dual-use community facilities.

Servicing

Scheduled servicing of drive systems, interlocks, guide rails and seating to keep banks operating smoothly and safely.

Inspections

Documented inspections of structure, fixings, mechanisms and safety devices, reported against each bank and row.

Repairs

Responsive repairs to seized mechanisms, damaged seats, bent rails, worn wheels and failed interlocks.

Modernisation

Control upgrades, drive replacement and re-upholstery that bring ageing systems up to current standards.

Maintenance Contracts

Planned maintenance with defined response times, engineer reporting and budget certainty for estates teams.

Why It Matters

A seating bank is a piece of moving plant

Retractable seating is inspected by insurers, health and safety teams and building control. Unrecorded servicing and undocumented repairs are the most common findings. Every visit we make produces an engineer's report stating what was checked, what was found and what was actioned.

  • Structure, fixings and guide rails checked at every visit
  • Drive, interlock and guard operation tested under load
  • Seat, armrest and end panel condition recorded row by row

Operating safely

Interlocks, guards and limit switches verified at every visit.

Fewer breakdowns

Planned servicing catches worn wheels and rails before they seize.

Defensible records

Engineer reports held as a maintenance audit trail for insurers and inspectors.

Tell us the make of the bank if known, the number of rows and seats, and what the system is doing (or not doing).
