Terms of Business
The basis on which Capital Seating Services provides surveys, quotations and specialist seating services. Project-specific terms are agreed in writing before works commence.

Surveys and quotations
Site surveys are provided without obligation. Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise and are based on the access, seat numbers and conditions observed at the time of survey.
Where a survey reveals additional works, or where access arrangements differ from those assumed, we will confirm the variation in writing before proceeding.
Scope and programme
Each project is delivered against an agreed scope of works and programme. Dates are subject to venue access, availability of seating components and any restriction imposed by the venue or its operator.
Prices and payment
Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment terms are confirmed in the quotation and normally comprise a deposit on order with staged payments through manufacture, installation and completion.
Maintenance contracts are invoiced annually in advance unless otherwise agreed.
Client responsibilities
We require safe access to the seating, confirmation of any listed building constraints, and prompt sign-off of samples, fabrics and seat counts. Delays caused by late approvals may affect the agreed programme.
Warranty and liability
Workmanship is warranted for twelve months from completion of the works, and materials carry the manufacturer's warranty period. Warranties exclude damage from misuse, unauthorised alteration or failure to follow the cleaning and maintenance guidance we provide.
Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the works carried out, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Retention of title
Seating and materials remain our property, or that of the manufacturer, until paid for in full.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
